A calmer pomodoro. Meet Pop — the work buddy who notices your golden hours and gently nudges you in when you're at your best.
The phone is home. On desktop, Pop tucks into the menu bar and only steps forward when you need him.
Most timers wait for you to start. Pop watches your rhythm and surfaces your best windows — without nagging, scoring, or shaming.
After your first week, Pop maps your golden hours — the windows where you finish what you start — and gently nudges you in just before they open.
Day × hour heatmap. Streak. Tag breakdown. Calm dashboard, no leaderboards.
Ring, dots, kernel-fill, or pure numerals. Pick the one that quiets your brain.
Same timer, same 25 minutes, real-time presence. Reactions stay muted while everyone's focusing — celebrations land together, after.
Sessions live on your device by default. If you turn on sync, it's end-to-end encrypted and we never see your tasks.
15/25/50/90-minute focus blocks. Custom short and long breaks. Soft-start that gives you 3 seconds to settle in.
Send a link, pick a length, pop a session together. See your buddies' progress as a soft tint, not a leaderboard. Reactions queue up while everyone's working, then land at the end.
2–6 people per room. Mobile, desktop, web — all in sync.
One account. Sessions sync (if you want them to). Pick your platform.
Four rules we don't bend. Some pomodoro apps measure you. Pop accompanies you.
Pop surfaces windows where you usually succeed. No red badges, no streak guilt.
The timer is the room. Stats and settings live one tap away — never crowding focus.
A session's end is the only place we go big. Pop pops, a single soft chime. That's it.
Easing: cubic-bezier(.2,.7,.3,1). Durations: 180–320ms. Never spring. Never bounce.
The whole timer is free. Pop's intelligence is the only thing behind a paywall.
Students & teachers: 50% off Plus with a school email.
Most timers wait for you. Pop watches your patterns — when you actually finish sessions vs. when you bail — and surfaces those windows as soft nudges. Same 25-minute timer, more useful around it.
No. There are no third-party trackers, no analytics SDKs, no ad networks. Your sessions live on your device. If you turn on sync, it's end-to-end encrypted — we cannot see your tasks, tags, or times.
Yes. The free tier is local-only and never asks for an email. You only sign up if you want sync, Plus features, or to invite buddies by handle.
A repeating time window where you historically finish what you start. Pop calculates them from your last ~30 sessions. You'll see your golden hours on the Stats page after about a week of use.
Settings → Account → Delete account. We purge everything within 7 days. There's also a direct link in the footer that doesn't require signing in.
Yes — .deb, .rpm, AppImage, and a Flatpak. We test on Ubuntu, Fedora, and Arch. There's also an unofficial AUR build the community maintains.
Free forever on every platform. 90 seconds to install. Pop's already practicing his wave.
